TRUE LOVE: a poem/read

   TRUE LOVE

Your love dances and swirls around me like a million gold leafed snow flakes-
Not wanting to miss a single nuance of it, I splay my arms out and welcome each one,
both perfect and imperfect., all are excepted-

Bombarded by the strength and conviction contained in your single human soul,-
I often wonder if even the vastness of all the galaxies in the whole of the universe could hold the
love you have for me or the love I have for you-

Your every action, word and thought is a reflection of your ever warming affection towards me.-
Every moment spent with you is equal to a thousand life times of joy and completion.-

The love you give is true love, not tainted with possessiveness or position,-

just pure, uncut, massive, splendid  true love-

Every morning is like a child's hearth warmed Christmas day,-

rising as early as we can, to catch even a glimpse of our gift giver.-
You seeking me. Me seeking you-
We grope the twilight darkness for each others forms, we find us, bliss-

Our afternoons are sugar coated candy slides of smiles and pure bliss-
We smooth the wrinkles of our brows so slip a sweet nothing in the waiting ear of our Beloved,-
sure that the promises of the coming nights togetherness will not come quick enough-
Hurry sun, retire for us, rise moon, light the path to our love-

Our nights... Oooooh our nights are ours alone.-

The world melts away into a thick puddle that we slow things up in-
The night is when we explore the same strange new lands over again-
We open the same treasure boxes only to find more treasure awaiting us, they are infinite-

We pour over each other like huge rivers of molten, liquid gold,-

filling in all nooks and empty spaces and hardening there-
They'll never be able to pull us apart, my love....-
We reach mountain peeks and then low, low canyons. Only our whispers are lower-
We drift off with thoughts of our gift givers and the giving of gifts.-
My gift to you will always be love... Holding you is bliss, time and again-

 We are true love-

RED SILK- a poem

RED SILK -a poem

Wrapped in flowing, red silk dipped in lace-

Arabian Equus caballus grace, with a face that shamed Nefertiti-

She was succulent succubus, temptation epitomized-

She taunted, tantalized, teased and tasted in tandem-

With random rhythms she tamed a lion with flicks of the hips-

Her lips pose as a rose and blessed he was to kiss heaven-

10 after 11 turned into 5 after 12 as he delved deep-

The sky could have fell and burned bright in Hell-

The Earth could have split asunder but he was under her so what of it?-

Hate it or love it, he was hers and life's blurs were just that-

He was spun into gold by her movements, transformed, refined-

Made better by her careful attention to his every detail-

He fell head over heals in lust and love and languish-

Mental anguish to be without her strong, feminine ways-

His mind in a haze but focused when thinking of and around her-

The feelings she'd stir the next time they meet-

The treat of the heat she'd bring consumed his thought patterns-

For better or for worst, blessed or cursed, he was forever stained-

LOVE INCARNATE- a poem

   LOVE INCARNATE

You can gather every grain of sand in one place-
and it still would not amount to the magnitude of her beauty-

I have dreams of her, standing high upon a balcony,-
in a grand palace, along the River Nile-
Her flowing, silken, sky blue garments ,-
billowing in the gentle, desert breeze-
She looks down at me with loving eyes and the warmest smile-

I reach out to her and her to me,-
knowing that from a distance away,-
we could not touch but in many ways we do-

A love that is unexplainable in it's power fills us both.-
Events that surround us do not weaken-
but rather strengthen our resolve-

I know that as she smiles, God(swt) smiles-
Even as I stand as a warrior, -
it is she that keeps the most sacred parts of me safe and secure-

Everything that she utters is pure wisdom and love-
She comes across as majestic and splendid,-
even while being short in stature-

She tips her head in a modest gesture with a radiant, warming smile-
Her gaze brings me closer to he who has made me-

She is not fantasy, she walks this Earth-
and she makes it a better place with her every step-
She is love incarnate-

"O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord, Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them has spread abroad a multitude of men and women" (Quran: 4:1)

Thanx for reading

KING-a poem

 KING

He is no ruler of man, save for himself-

He has been called visionary and warrior-
Champion, scholar, comforter and poet-

The citadel that is his heart, always guarded-

The galaxy that is his mind, vast and far reaching-
He carries many loads and has many shames upon him-

His queen,.... fleeting and evasive,.... smoke-

She rules his heart but knows not her sway-
He rejects her advances in order to do things lawfully-
She taunts him with her adornments and burns his agenda-

Besieged he is from all sides of his castle fortress-

The attackers are not privy to what awaits them beyond the battered gates-
They only see the glow that is emitted from within-

He sees only the attacking masses in blinding swarms-

Despite this, he does not claim defeat but victory-
Queen moves and then overcomes pawn-
Pawn is not King for Pawn lacks intuition and refinement-

He looks upon his slain would be rivals-

He wonders what they could have been-
He worries not about the darkening sky that is but another wave-

He is king......

I RELEASE THEE-a poem

   I RELEASE THEE -a poem

From my loving arms, I release thee, you need my arms no more-
I held on for as long, my love, until my muscles tore-

From my longing gaze, I release thee, I turn my eyes away-
Erratic was your movement but my eyes would never stray-

I release thee from my dreams, hopes, plans, wishes and ambition-

The man you had that loved you so, he acts on his volition-

From my protective wings, I release thee. Your shelter is but wind-

You ripped my wings away with pride, I'm sure they'll never mend-

From the warmth of my kiss, I release thee, your lips will remain cold-
Your lips would part to shame me, whilst I give you a kiss of gold-

I release thee from my thoughts, prayers, choices, days and nights-

You've taken trust and slayed it so to me you have no rights-

From shame I do release thee, I hold no grudge or hate-

You clamber now to reclaim love, the hour now draws late-

So from my life, I release thee, I need not cross your mind-

I release myself from you, my dear and I leave it all behind-
