I don't want to wait- a poem

Bumpy roads, smooth, warm paths, sharp ended words, candle lit baths-

Doubt filled nights, dreams of bliss, cold conversations, love's warm kiss-
I don't want to wait 'till next summer, that seems so far away-
I don't want to wait 'till next summer, for our special day-
Stubborn visit, airport surprise, floor length skirt, a meeting of eyes-
Day long Heaven, searching for money, love making pair, frosted flake funny-
I don't want to wait 'till next summer, I've waited long enough-
I don't want to wait 'till next summer, the road we walk is ruff-
Talk of walking, pacts made after, never again, her soft laughter-
Moves down South, the heat is the same, small ceremony, same last name-
I don't want to wait 'till next summer, tomorrow feels too late-
I don't want to wait 'till next summer, let's sit and make a date-

Coldest Summer, Warmest winter- a poem

Coldest summer, warmest winter, why did I beg my heart to enter?-
knowing that hell is at the center, coldest summer, warmest winter-

Fruitless spring, bountiful fall, I wish I could forget it all-
In springs cold grasp, my leaves did fall, but tell me, did you care, at all?-

My world, it seems, is upside down, sharp is dull, square is round-
A heartless world, a soothing splinter, coldest summer, warmest winter-

Please, don't take my frown for sadness, insanity is not my madness-
A fish that swims in a lake of fire, a truth filled woman, is but a liar-

I found the key, I turned the lock. I wound the meat and cooked the clock-
Your loving words, just idle talk, you run away, towards me you walk-

My winter warms me, my summer chills, fighting comforts, loving kills-
My distance runner, a breathless sprinter. coldest summer, warmest winter-
