QUIET STORM

Held captive by the curves of her cumulonimbus-
She hit with all the power of a billion steeds-

She was strong but quiet, well built, thus-
her rhythm, deep, at various speeds-

From the heavens, down my world did shake-
her passing by, noticed by many-

Hearts abound did this storm take-
breaking all not leaving any-

Her beauty, awing, most humbling was she-
Behind her many a man did bow-

From her immense power, I shalt not flee-
This Quiet Storm rains on me now-

Soak me, electrify me, take me up into your midst-
Rip this loneliness from my wanting heart-

Destroy me, then rebuild me with a single kiss-
I'm here waiting for your inundation to start-

Allow me to be the winds that propel you-
Allow me to be your thunder's roar-

I'll be the lightening that will never fail you-
I'll be the wet in your rain until I am no more...

TY for reading.

APACHE GIRL

From snowy peak to coastal edge-

From sand lined bank to rocky ledge-

From open plain to ancient wood-

A proud and beautiful people stood-

And there she stands, Raven hair-

Deer's subtle gracefulness, the courage of Bear-

Thieves did come to strip her lands-

But pride she still holds in her hands-

Industrious, artistic, brave and strong-

They told great stories through dance and song-

Earth was mother, respected and kept-

Under Sky's star blanket, Her people slept-

And there she slumbers, Healing Eagle-

Her spirit walks, both humble and regal-

They forced her people into reservations-

She still sees a spirit in all of God's creations-

Stolen, abused, a land and people but vanish they did not-

From Abenaki to Zuni, they stood, they spoke, they fought-

Through trickery and brutality, their lands forcefully taken-

If given back their lands and rights, their

Apache girl, with heart so heavy, her people spread so thin-

know that they steal your spirit not, for it resides within-

Your culture and your pride still speaks in everything you do-

Though I know not your people's plight, my heart goes out to you-

For a dear friend... I pray you are well, Ameen...

YOUR

Your smile electrifies and humbles me-
Your pictures tease and excite me-

Your skin reminds me and emboldens me-
Your words challenge and rewrite me-

Your eyes reflect and compel me-
Your lips beckon and subdue me-

Your love warms and secures me-
Your vision looks right through me-

Your humor tickles and delights me-
Your strength ensures and impresses me-

Your thoughts calm and compose me-
Your mind eagerly undresses me-

Undress me as if I am yours and yours alone-
Your palace awaits, Queen, come sit on your throne.....

Thanx for reading.

Comment, if you smiled a little.....

LOVE=0

1 + 1 does equal 2, you don't see things the way I do-
You see that 1 is next to none and what does 0 add up to?-

Pi is your way but I deal in square-
You seem so well rounded while love is not there-

It feels so damn cold when I know you don't care-
If (X) equals 0 then what is my share-

I add, you subtract from good feelings and joys-
You play with my feelings as if they were toys-

A decimal separates good times we did share-
So my sum is not equal to my prime number's care-

Should I tell you that fractions are what I have left-
Whole numbers, subtracted, I sit here bereft-

I can add up the sum of my smiles on one hand-
You divide and then ask why alone I must stand-

An equation for you to ponder by Jalil al-Asad Amir al-Hamza

SHE IS

She is amazing... With a single wink of an eye or with the slightest curl of her lips she has me mesmerized.

She is attractive... Her every movement attracts my attention. Her beauty comes from within. She is poetry in motion...

She is strong... She may not be able to lift a hundred pounds but she has lifted a hundred sorrows and more from my heart. Her strength keeps me going.

She is intelligent... She can calculate the distance of my Mars from her Venus and bring the two closer. Her words are so elegantly woven that to ponder them is like pondering the stars.

She is humble... She never looks down her nose but rather up to the heavens and it shows in everything that she does. She knows of the creator of all things. She wants to get to know him better.

She stands out... From blocks away and within a crowd of a million souls, I can pick out her energy. It calls to me so loudly.

She fits in... While laying with her in the darkness of our room, her body fits into mine, flawlessly. A hand to a glove. The sun to the moon. We can't tell where one of us ends and the other begins.

She is mine... She is not my property but rather my partner, in all things. I call her mine because she is my second half, my better half at that. She finishes my sentences because she is mine. She tastes so good because she is mine......

PSYCHE LOVE

Oh make love to your mind, I can do it to and for you,...

Meeting you in your subconscious, I approach you with the confidence of a pride leading lion-

Embracing your deepest desires, dissecting them, stroke for stroke, until I find the wettest dream-

I lay that dream down, displayed, raw and wide open, I search my mind for a way into yours-

Locating that place in you that contains excitement unbound, I taste and tease, it blossoms-

A sea of fantasies threatens to drown me, I do not waste nary a drop, taking each moment and giving it back to you, ten fold-

Taking your mind to a place where gravity is defied, we glide and pump to mysterious, distant moans and rhythms that come from outside of our realm-

Caressed, I free what you've caged. Unleashed, it now runs wild in the gardens that you've so carefully tended, with modest and demure hands, it is ravenous, panting and fast-

That thing, the thing you wanted to find but were too afraid, I capture it, tame it, hold it firmly as it thrashes and bucks against my will, hot and rhythmic-

I calm it with a mantra:
Away with your inhibitions and enjoy it-
Delve deep into this feeling and enjoy it-
Your mind is a door to the rest of your being, enjoy it-
Together, together we can enjoy it-

Powerful, majestic and unafraid, it comes to know me, multiple times and it is both desired and desirable. A once timid but beautiful psyche, taken to a new level of being and pleasantly exhausted... I've just made love to your mind...

The challenge was to write a poem/piece that was about making love to the mind but not mentioning one single sexual move, how did I do?
