THE FUNERAL

Dearly Beloved but not loving, we gather here today, to send what was our loved one, most tenderly on it's way-

I've noticed that you've all came here, to answer deaths black call but some of you hardly knew the departed, if at all-

Before I say the prayer of peace to send this soul along, I'd like to make it VERY clear that most of you were wrong-

Our departed, here, needed you, though you thought that not the case, now gather round our loved one and let's meet it face to face-

Here lies the relationship, so strong when alive. We thought that through all weather, the relationship would survive-

But jealousy was stronger, mistrust was it's killer, arrogance was it's only friend and love, only a filler-

I see that trust, you have come, but where were you when needed? I've noticed patience has showed it's face but was never deeply seeded-

Good God, SEX, you were never there, relationship had loved you, Ahhh tenderness, yes you were shown, none other put above you-

Honesty, I have to say that you have played your part but jealousy, that evil soul, ripped relationship apart-

The rest of you, you had your rolls, I ask thee, did you play them? I guess sometimes prayers do not work and relationship did say them-

So let us all just be at peace and learn a lesson here- Know that if you don't give love, love's death is always near....
